Brother and The Hayes – Residency

June 28 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Brother and The Hayes is a Tennessee based, Texas born Americana-roots band led by siblings Jennie Hayes Kurtz and David Bingaman. They combine thoughtful lyrics with infectious grooves, pulling from an assortment of blues, bluegrass, and country & western influences including Doc Watson, Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt, and JJ Cale. The duo has released four studio projects since 2017 and their latest release, Another Strange Time, is turning heads. “Over a steady, lightly rocking arrangement, enhanced by a soulful guitar solo and sprinkling keys, ‘Something to Find’ recalls the Drive-By Truckers at their most thoughtful.” – The Indy Review
Brother and The Hayes has toured all over the country playing premier listening rooms like The Bluebird Cafe, Sundown at Granada, George’s Majestic Lounge, Isis Music Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, and many more. Brother and The Hayes have shared stages and toured with world renowned artists and songwriters including Mando Seanz, Dawn Landes, Ben Danaher, and Kyshona Armstrong, to name a few.

You would be hard pressed to find a band that writes more authentically and has more fun playing together. The rapport between brother and sister on stage is something to behold as they draw you in and make you feel like part of the family.
