December 8th we will again be premiering Matchstick Productions newest ski film:“ALL IN”, Matchstick Productions 2018 epic ski film delivers a first of its kind experience. This concept is spearheaded by a talented group of hard-charging women who wanted to disrupt the maledominated ski film formula. This isn’t your typical “Women can shred too” film, this is a kick-ass ski film that just happens to feature as many women as men. Skiing isn’t exclusionary, true fun in the mountains can be shared equally by everyone.
This year we will have two seperate showings of the film at 6:00pm and 7:45 pm. Between the showings we will have our HUGE Raffle at 7:15! We will have all sorts of gear and swag to raffle off. Each movie ticket comes with one raffle ticket and more will be available to purchase the day of. You can purchase your film tickets in advance at CKS Main Street or The Trailhead. Adults $10 and Kids under 12 $5. CKS Main Street will also be having a ski swap all day the day of. So come check out used gear or drop some gear off with them. Hailing from Denver, CO and playing their own unique style dubbed as “New American Reggae” Rastasaurus has expanded quickly in the exploding Denver music scene. Mixing a blend of influences from improvisational, reggae, rock and everything in between the band leaves a lasting musical impression everywhere they go. Centered around the prolific songwriting of Justus Lacewell (vocals, guitar), mixing thick, psychedelic grooves of Eric Ciccone (lead guitar) and the smooth, funky rhythms of Sam Lafalce (bass) and Sam Neihaus (drums) round out the quartet.
With their original songs featuring an infusion of reggae with elements of funk, rock and roll, improvised jamming and dub, Rastasaurus is constantly exploring and expanding its own unique blend of American reggae.
